Relationship to Other Terms
This Paid App Agreement supplements the ATHENIA Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict about paid access, subscriptions, credits, billing, cancellation, or refunds, this Paid App Agreement controls for that paid feature.
This user-facing agreement does not replace Apple's Paid Apps Agreement or any other agreement that the ATHENIA developer account holder must accept in App Store Connect to offer paid apps, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
Paid Access and Features
ATHENIA may offer paid app access, subscriptions, consumable or non-consumable in-app purchases, usage credits, higher usage limits, model access, storage, processing, or other premium digital features. The available paid features, prices, billing periods, included quotas, and renewal terms are shown in the app or on the App Store before purchase.
Paid features may depend on third-party services, including Apple, payment infrastructure, hosting providers, AI model providers, and text-to-speech providers. Availability may vary by region, account status, device, app version, provider capacity, and applicable law.
Billing Through Apple
Purchases made in the iOS app are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. ATHENIA does not receive or store full payment card numbers. Apple may provide ATHENIA with transaction identifiers, subscription status, product identifiers, renewal status, expiration dates, cancellation status, and related purchase metadata so ATHENIA can unlock paid features.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate Apple ID payment information and for any taxes, fees, or charges applied by Apple or required by law.
Subscriptions and Renewal
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, or as otherwise described by Apple at purchase. Renewal charges and renewal timing are managed by Apple. If a subscription expires, is cancelled, refunded, revoked, or cannot be renewed, ATHENIA may reduce or remove access to paid features.
Trial offers, introductory prices, promotional prices, and eligibility rules are controlled by Apple and may change or expire.
Cancellation
You can cancel App Store subscriptions in your Apple account subscription settings. Deleting the ATHENIA app or deleting your ATHENIA account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. You must cancel through Apple to stop future renewal charges.
Refunds
Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies. ATHENIA cannot guarantee refunds for purchases processed by Apple. If Apple issues a refund, ATHENIA may revoke or reduce the related paid access, credits, quota, or entitlement.
Credits, Quotas, and Usage Limits
Some paid features may include credits, token balances, generation limits, storage limits, or fair-use limits. Credits and quotas are digital access rights, not cash or stored value, and are not transferable unless ATHENIA says otherwise in writing. ATHENIA may deduct credits or apply usage limits for AI generation, file processing, speech, storage, worker tasks, or other paid operations.
ATHENIA may refuse, throttle, or delay paid operations when usage exceeds limits, provider capacity is unavailable, a payment is disputed or refunded, or the requested use violates the Terms of Service or acceptable use rules.
Changes to Paid Features
ATHENIA may change prices, paid feature bundles, usage limits, credit rules, model availability, supported providers, or subscription plans. Price changes for App Store subscriptions are handled through Apple's required notice and consent flows where applicable.
No Professional Advice or Guaranteed Results
Paid access does not guarantee that AI outputs will be accurate, complete, lawful, suitable, or available without interruption. You remain responsible for reviewing AI output before using it for decisions, publications, work product, or other important purposes.
Termination of Paid Access
ATHENIA may suspend or terminate paid access if required by law, by Apple, by a service provider, or if we reasonably believe the account has violated the Terms of Service, payment rules, security rules, or acceptable use requirements. Termination of paid access does not automatically entitle you to a refund unless required by Apple policy or applicable law.
